My Story

Marty Sutton is a multifaceted entrepreneur and entertainment industry professional with a diverse background in music production, event management, computer technology, and community advocacy. Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, Marty has been an active member of the community since childhood, attending Trinity Baptist Church in Bronzeville and graduating from Mifflin High School.

After completing his education at Urbana University and Ohio Dominican University, Marty founded and operated First Class limousine service at the young age of 23. He went on to manage Club One in Columbus for over a decade and became a prominent promoter of major concerts in the city.

Marty's passion for music led him to become a record producer, working with some of the industry's most prestigious artists and engineers, including the legendary Bobby Byrd, (I know you got soul remix), Jim Salamone (Sigma Sound Philadelphia), Peter Humphreys (Masterworks Philadelphia), Mike Brown, and Alfred Brown in Philadelphia, and Bobbie Reece in New York. He worked with legendary musicians like Luther Vandross, and Stanley Brown, among many others. In addition, he also worked in professional boxing with Don King Productions as a graphic artist and event promoter, collaborating with Dr. Deborah King, Don King's daughter, and television producer Ira Glass.

Marty is also a dedicated community advocate and has served as the Director of the Potential Mentoring Program in Columbus City Schools. He co-directed NBC4's "Battle Against Bullying" with Cabot Rea and worked with Reverend McKaskill, assistant to the mayor of Philadelphia. As the CEO of Goldgate Entertainment Group, he managed several recording artists and collaborated with Def Jam on the Nutty Professor soundtrack. He also worked with Jack and Jill in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Marty's diverse range of experience and expertise has made him a sought-after figure in the entertainment industry and a respected leader in his community. He continues to inspire and motivate others through his work and dedication to making a positive impact on the world around him.
