Black Wall is owned and operated by Gold Gate Entertainment Group, LLC.

This Privacy Policy explains how Black Wall collects, uses, stores, protects, and shares information when individuals access or use the Black Wall mobile application and its associated services.

By using Black Wall, you acknowledge that your information will be handled as described in this Privacy Policy.

Black Wall may collect information users provide directly, information generated through their use of the application, and technical information necessary to operate the platform.

  • Village Signals and V Signs

Users should avoid posting sensitive personal information they do not wish to make publicly available.

C. Location Information

Black Wall may request permission to access your device's precise or approximate location when you use location-based features, including Village, Grade Card, community selection, and location-tagged posts.

Location information may include:

  • City and state

  • ZIP code

  • Approximate geographic location

  • Precise geographic coordinates

  • Locations voluntarily associated with Village Signals or community reports

When Village is active and location permission has been granted, Black Wall may receive updated location information to identify nearby community activity, display relevant map markers, and determine your city, state, and ZIP code.

Black Wall may also use location information to identify relevant geographic areas and support location-based features.

Users may manage or revoke location permissions through their mobile device settings.

Certain location-based features may be limited when location permission is unavailable.

Location information voluntarily associated with public content may be visible to other Black Wall users.

D. Photos, Videos, Camera, and Microphone

Black Wall may request access to a user's camera, microphone, photographs, or videos when the user chooses to create or upload content.

These permissions support features such as:

  • Recording Motion videos

  • Uploading photographs

  • Recording audio associated with videos

  • Creating Mirror content

  • Sharing community observations

Black Wall does not require users to grant camera or microphone access merely to browse the application.

E. Technical and Usage Information

Black Wall and its service providers may process technical information necessary to operate, secure, maintain, and improve the application.

This information may include:

  • Device type and operating system

  • Application version

  • Authentication and session information

  • Error reports

  • Security-related events

  • Information about interactions with application features

Black Wall does not currently integrate Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, or third-party advertising SDKs into its application code.

Other technology providers may process technical information necessary to provide their services.

3. HOW WE USE INFORMATION

Black Wall uses information for purposes related to operating and maintaining the platform.

These purposes may include:

  1. Creating and maintaining user accounts.

  2. Authenticating users and protecting account access.

  3. Displaying posts, videos, comments, and other user-generated content.

Black Wall is designed around community participation.

Certain information and content submitted by users may be visible to other users, including:

  • Wall posts

  • Motion videos

  • Mirror content

  • Comments and reactions

  • Village Signals

  • Community reports

  • Public business information

Users are responsible for considering the information they choose to make public.

Other individuals may view, share, photograph, or otherwise retain publicly accessible content.

Deleting content from Black Wall does not necessarily remove copies previously saved or shared outside the platform by other individuals.

5. LOCATION-BASED COMMUNITY FEATURES

Black Wall's Village features are intended to help users discover and participate in activity relevant to their communities.

Depending on the feature and permissions granted, Black Wall may use location information to:

  • Display nearby Village Signals and V Signs.

  • Associate community reports with geographic areas.

  • Display community participation and activity.

  • Identify relevant local information.

  • Support location-based notifications where enabled.

  • Display nearby businesses and other geographic information.

Users should not assume that information submitted through community reporting features is anonymous.

A location associated with a public submission may be visible to other users.

Black Wall does not guarantee that information submitted by community members is independently verified unless specifically identified as verified within the application.

6. THIRD-PARTY SERVICE PROVIDERS

Black Wall uses third-party technology providers to support application functionality.

These include Google Firebase services for:

  • User authentication

  • Database management

  • File storage

  • Application infrastructure

Black Wall may also use other providers to support video delivery, mapping, notifications, and application functionality.

These providers may process information necessary to deliver their respective services.

Their handling of information may also be governed by their applicable privacy policies.

Black Wall remains responsible for accurately disclosing its use of third-party services and for selecting appropriate safeguards when handling user information.

Black Wall does not authorize users to access another person's private account information without permission.

Include the email address associated with your Black Wall account.

For security purposes, Black Wall may request reasonable identity verification before processing an account-deletion request.

Users should never provide their passwords through email.

Black Wall provides a DELETE ACCOUNT option within the application for initiating account deletion.

When an account is deleted, Black Wall will remove associated account information and user data, except information that must be retained for legitimate legal, security, fraud-prevention, or regulatory reasons.

Information previously shared or retained independently by other users or external platforms may remain outside Black Wall's control.

11. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Black Wall is intended for individuals aged 16 and older.

Individuals under the age of 16 are not permitted to create or maintain a Black Wall account.

Where applicable law requires a higher minimum age, that higher age requirement applies.

Black Wall does not knowingly collect personal information from individuals below the applicable minimum age.

If we become aware that personal information has been collected from an individual in violation of applicable age requirements, we will take appropriate steps to delete that information.

Parents or guardians who believe that a child has provided personal information in violation of this policy may contact Black Wall using the contact information below.

12. USER-GENERATED CONTENT AND COMMUNITY SAFETY

Black Wall supports community discussion, reporting, and the exchange of information.

Users are expected to comply with applicable laws and Black Wall's community standards.
