Content Submission Terms

Bronzeville Communications Network (BCN)

These Content Submission Terms apply to all photographs, videos, audio recordings, documents, text, screenshots, links, and other materials (“Content”) submitted to Bronzeville Communications Network (“BCN”) through any BCN property, including but not limited to:

• The Black Wall (including Wix Groups posts and comments)

• Black Receipts

• Receipt Work

• City Ledger

• District Conditions

• Black Dollar Ledger

• Impact Distribution

• Black Wall Podcast Network submissions

By submitting Content to BCN, you agree to the terms below in addition to BCN’s general Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

1) Acceptance of Submission Terms

By submitting Content to BCN, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Content Submission Terms. If you do not agree, do not submit Content.

2) Content Ownership and Permission

You represent and warrant that:

• You are the legal owner of the Content or

• You have obtained all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to submit the Content

You further affirm that the Content does not infringe upon:

• intellectual property rights

• privacy or publicity rights

• contractual rights

• any other legal rights of any third party

3) Accuracy, Authenticity, and Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the accuracy, authenticity, and legality of the Content you submit.

• Submission of false, misleading, fabricated, or fraudulent Content is prohibited

• BCN is not responsible for verifying the truthfulness of all submissions

• BCN may rely on user confirmations and representations when accepting Content

4) Editorial, Opinion, and Community Context

All submitted Content:

• reflects the views and statements of the submitter

• does not represent the views or opinions of BCN

BCN does not endorse, verify, or guarantee the accuracy of submitted Content.

5) License Granted to BCN

By submitting Content, you grant BCN a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, worldwide license to:

• use, host, store, reproduce, display, publish, and distribute the Content

• edit, adapt, format, or create derivative works from the Content

• incorporate the Content into BCN editorial, community, educational, or promotional materials

This license applies across all current and future media formats, whether now known or later developed.

You retain ownership of your Content.

6) No Obligation to Use

BCN is under no obligation to use, display, feature, or retain any submitted Content and may remove Content at any time.

7) Moderation and Removal of Content

BCN reserves the right, but not the obligation, to:

• remove Content

• restrict visibility

• disable commenting

• suspend or limit accounts

Content may be removed at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these terms or BCN community standards.

8) Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BCN and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from:

• the Content you submit

• your use of the BCN platform

• your violation of these Content Submission Terms

• your violation of any rights of another person or entity

9) Disclaimer of Liability

BCN is not responsible for:

• the views, opinions, or factual accuracy of submitted Content

• harm resulting from reliance on user-submitted Content

All Content is provided “as is” and “as available.”

10) Reporting and Takedown Requests

If you believe submitted Content violates these terms or your legal rights, contact:

Please include:

• a link or clear description of the Content

• the reason for your request

• any supporting documentation

BCN will review requests in good faith.

11) Modifications to These Terms

BCN may update these Content Submission Terms at any time. Continued submission of Content after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These Content Submission Terms operate in conjunction with BCN’s:
