Every time a Black resident is killed by police, the public is told to focus on the individual case.

Let's focus on the facts.

How many White suspects in Columbus have been involved in similar encounters with police?

How many White suspects allegedly fired at officers?

How many survived?

How many were killed?

How many cases can city leaders point to that demonstrate the same outcome regardless of race?

We hear officials say every case is different.

Fine.

Then show the public the cases.

Show the names.

Show the circumstances.

Show the outcomes.

Because Columbus has spent years explaining why Black residents were shot.

Andre Hill.

Casey Goodson Jr.

Donovan Lewis.

Tyre King.

Now Isawan Foster.

What the public rarely sees is a transparent side-by-side comparison showing how similarly situated White suspects were treated.

If Columbus police respond the same way regardless of race, then the data should prove it.

If city leaders believe the system is fair, then releasing the comparisons should be easy.

The Black Wall is requesting something simple.

Not opinions.

Not press conferences.

Not talking points.

Show Columbus the data.

If the comparisons exist, release them.

If they don't exist, explain why.

The burden is no longer on the public to prove fairness doesn't exist.

The burden is on the system to prove that it does.
